This material is the subject of a patent: “The Plantar Pad Substitute”. It reproduces the mechanical (viscoelastic) properties of healthy human plantar pad.

DESCRIPTION
Plate made of a 2.2mm thick pressure-distributing silicone gel embedded between two polyamide/elastane fabrics.

USE
Pressure distributing material to be integrated into foot orthoses (does not sand).

BENEFITS
EPITHELIUM 26® plates are biocompatible, non-adhesive silicone gel devices double-bonded to a fabric. They are soft and elastic. EPITHELIUM 26® is a durable gel that helps distribute plantar pressure, primarily under the forefoot.
This silicone gel does not lose its mechanical properties over time.

IMPLEMENTATION
- Cut the module into the desired shape by beveling the edges using scissors.
- Glue it to the desired area of ​​your foot orthosis with neoprene glue or by heat-sealing on resin.
- Apply your covering to the sole.

COMPOSITION
84% silicone, 16% polyamide/elastane fabric.

INTERVIEW
The material is machine washable at 30°C.
