Eona Organic Essential Oils

Precautions for using essential oils:
Essential oils are substances with a high concentration of active molecules. Using them in their pure state requires following a few basic principles, and in some cases even seeking the advice of a healthcare professional trained in aromatherapy.

Contraindications:
Do not use in children under 6 years of age, pregnant women or breastfeeding women, unless advised by a doctor.
Do not ingest more than 6 drops of essential oil per day (maximum dose for an adult).
Never apply to sensitive areas of the body (eyes, mucous membranes, ears, nose, genitals, etc.).
Do not inject.
Use with caution in people with allergies or who have never used essential oils, by carrying out a skin test (1 drop on the wrist).
Always keep the bottles tightly closed, away from light, humidity, temperature fluctuations and heat.
Keep out of reach of children!
As some essential oils are photosensitizing (citrus essences), direct exposure to the sun 6 hours after applying them to the skin should be avoided (risk of burns).
In case of incidents or adverse effects (skin reaction, splashing into the eyes, accidental ingestion, etc.), rinse thoroughly with water and then vegetable oil. If necessary, contact the nearest emergency department.
